Yianni Diakomihalis Defeats Top Ranked Bajrang at Beat the Streets
Cornell Superstar Already Focused on Final X
The sold out crowd of 5000 at the 10th Beat the Streets event were given an amazing show by many of the top wrestlers in the world today. One of the most exciting matches was between 2 time NCAA Champion Yianni Diakomihalis and the number one ranked wrestler in the world at 65kg Bajrang Punia of India.
Yianni was able to capitalize on a scramble at the end to win 10-8, but when asked about the win, Diakomihalis was clear that the victory wouldn't be relished for long. Check out the short interview below for me.
