Bo Nickal and Jason Nolf Join the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club

NCAA Champion wrestlers Bo Nickal and Jason Nolf, the two most dominant college wrestlers of the last season, are joining their home Regional Training Center and will pursue their freestyle goals as members of the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club. They are the first ever NCAA teammates to graduate from the same team, on the same season, with three NCAA titles to their credit. Their weights remain a question mark for the upcoming freestyle season, with the US Open approaching quickly.

Bo Nickal finished his senior season with his third consecutive national championship and the Hodge trophy. Bo finished his senior season 30-0, with 27 of those wins coming by major, tech, or pin. Bo is one of few to be in the national finals every year of his college career, placing 2-1-1-1, and winning titles at 184 and 197 pounds. He will look to figure into the freestyle circuit immediately at either 92kg or 97kg. With a talent for pinning, and a long frame that will let him work through a lot of exposure situations, Bo is well suited for a very successful freestyle career.

Jason Nolf is now also a three-time NCAA Champion, placing 2-1-1-1 in a career marked by bonus points and relentless scoring. After a freshman season spent rivaling Isaiah Martinez, Jason Nolf has been pretty much untouched the last three years, even winning a national title on one leg last season after a serious knee injury. Jason will look to figure into the freestyle ladder at 70kg or 74kg, both of which will likely see him as a national and potentially international force.
