Northern Iowa Beats Iowa State 22-13 In In-State Big 12 Dual

In a heated dual between the Northern Iowa Panthers (7-5-0) and the Iowa State Cyclones (10-3-0), the Doug Schwab-led Panthers emerged victorious, winning six of ten bouts and picking up two by bonus points. The Cyclones, as coached by Kevin Dresser, fought well with four victories of their own, highlighted by a tech fall by Gomez at 133. The dual was really exciting, and all these guys look really prepared for the postseason. Three former All-Americans (Drew Foster, Max Thomsen, Willie Miklus) highlighted the night. While the score was tight in actual matches (60-58), the actual dual score wasn't as kind to ISU.
