2019 Greco Roman World Team Trials Qualifiers After US Open
With the conclusion of the US Open, the majority of the fields for the 2019 World Team Trials has been set. With only the Last Chance Qualifier left to complete, we can now begin to see how the brackets will take shape for the tournament next month. The top seven placers from the US Open have all qualified, and below is the list of all qualified athletes for men's freestyle as of right now. At 125, returning world medalist Adam Coon sits in the Final X wrestle-off, and the winner of the US Open will wrestle the World Team Trials champion, with the winner advancing to Final X. At 60 and 87, athletes have advanced to the WTT finals by virtue of qualifying their weight for the Pan American games. At every other weight, the US Open champion will wrestle the World Team Trials champion at Final X for the deciding spot.
