Stanford Cardinals Wins First Pac-12 Title in Team History

Stanford Cardinals Wins First Pac-12 Title in Team History

Exciting time to be a Stanford Cardinal, as the team won their first ever conference championship, helped by two champions and a full team effort. They beat out the host Arizona State by only two points, a feat secured by the championship win at 197 by Nathan Traxler. Third place Oregon State was only two points behind that, making this the tightest conference team race in the country. Zahid Valencia won the award for Most Outstanding Wrestler, after scoring two technical falls for his championship. Valencia will look to become a four-time conference champion next year, after winning his third in 2019.
